We enjoyed our stay very much. the room was large, well furnished, clean and warm (a bit too warm for my wife!)
The breakfast was lovely.
The welcome was warm and friendly.
The shower could have been a tad more powerful for perfection and don't forget normal tea bags in the tray for in-room tea and coffee - we only had Earl Grey.

As the weather was extremely cold the heating was full on but the radiators all have thermostats and I assume guests not happy with the temperature will turn them down. This way I offer a choice and am so sorry you were not happy with it. I apologise for the oversight re tea and will endeavour to see that this does not happen again. I stayed 2 nights in room 3. The room was very comfortable and quiet even with the window open at night (as I like to do). Room not huge but bed was comfortable and it completely suited my needs. En suite was spacious with a great modern walk-in double shower. Nice big heated towel rail made it very cosy. Everything spotlessly clean - highly recommended and would definately return if in the area. Best cooked breakfast for a long time - was only going to have it once but ended up having the full monte both mornings. Handy for walking into town to eat out.

Certainly Worth A Revisit

Lovely stately home with spacious rooms, nice helpful lady.
Due to a misunderstanding we ordered cooked breakfast for two in our party who don't eat cooked breakfast, so the landlady went out for some shopping to be able to provide continental breakfast as well. We thought this was very kind of her.

A very warm welcome when we arrived and the service provided was second to none. Very comfortable and spotless accomodation. Extremely good value for money and a hearty breakfast before we departed. We would certainly recommend this guest house and hopefully we will stay again on our next outing. Very Satisfied.

Very peaceful and comfortable four nights stay.
Nicely decorated bedroom and large bathroom.
Breakfast tasty and various choice.
The hostess is a very helpful and nice person.
It was my second stay and I'll return there: it is very convenient even with no car to visit all the towns around: Ironbridge, Bridgnorth, Ludlow and Shrewsbury.

We had a comfortable stay at Clairmont. Eileen provided a great full English breakfast. We walked up to the Old Orleton restaurant (10 mins) which is recommended on this site for a superb meal too.

A Lovely Place To Stay

Clairmont is a lovely victorian house run by Eileen. It is comfortable, clean and the rooms are nicely furnished.
Situated in the town of Wellington it is ideally placed for exploring the Shropshire countryside.
Eileen made us feel very welcome and we would recommend Clairmont Guest House to everyone.
